1)Please, tell me something about your band ( History, Members, Recordings, Livegigs, Label etc. )

Well, we have been playing since January, 1996 and we are all about 21 years old. Since the beginning we have developed from playing cover songs of Metallica into playing a musical genre which we have chosen to call atmospheric, melodic death metal. In the spring of 1999 we recorded a single song, "Brave & Lonely", which was chosen to a Danish metal compilation called "Extremity Rising vol. 4" and about a year later we recorded our first actual demo-cd, "Quadrology of Sorrow". With this demo, things began to happen quite fast. We sent it out to hundreds of different people, labels, magazines and radiostations and this turned out to be a very good idea as we got a lot of great feedback and reviews as well as some offers from a couple of record companies. We chose to sign a deal for two full-length albums with the American label Lost Disciple Records. By now we are finishing the layout for our debut album, "Fragments of a Withered Dream", which will be released in August or September. Check out two of the songs from the cd on www.mp3.com/composmentis.

2)How would you describe your position in the wide - world metal scene ? What`do you think about the underground?

- I see us as a band slowly climbing up in the underground. Since our debut album "Fragments of a Withered Dream" hasn't been released yet, I assume that there are many readers who haven't heard about us before but hopefully they will get to know more about us in the near future... Our demo "Quadrology of Sorrow" received a lot of great reviews so I can't wait for the release of our debut album to see how it will be received, hopefully this will help us move further up in the music business. What I think about the underground? Well, I believe that it's difficult to characterize it in general but I can say that I really enjoy the underground in Denmark as I think it's extremely cool to go to concerts and talk to all the other bands and metal maniacs.

3)Which 3 CDs would you take with to a lonely Island?

I would never go to a lonely island without my entire cd collection, my guitar, computer with internet connection and without knowing that there would be daily metal concerts! Anyway, the five cds in my cd player right now are Dark Tranquillity "The Gallery", Cradle of Filth "Dusk...and her Embrace", In Flames "Colony", Dissection "Storm of the Light's Bane" and Children of Bodom "Something Wild".

4)Think, you have enough money to make a nice Video, How will it lool like?

When Headbangers Ball is on the air again we might consider, but as it is right now, we haven't considered making a video. If it ever comes up, we probably won't have the money to make a nice one so it'll most likely be a live video of some kind, everyone seems to be making dvd's nowadays so perhaps we should just follow that stream.

5)If you`ve the chance, to change one day of your life. Which will it be and why?

Well I hate my job so if I could then I'd change all my working days. Otherwise I can't think of any right now.

6)Which song sholud the play on your burial?

I don't think that I'll be there at that particular time, so I guess I would torture the people with some dance pop crap, and laugh from beyond the grave.

7)If you have the cance to kill someone and to bring back one person in the same way, which would it be and why?

This is quite a dilemma as you're asking me to play god and since I'm not religious in any way, I guess that I could start by killing myself. Bringing someone back...? Well, Jon Nödtveidt (Dissection) isn't exactly dead but if I could just bring him out of prison I'd be very glad.

8)Whats means Metal for you?

Lots of beer, an extremely low sense of humour and, of course, Wacken festival.

9)What do you think about political lyrics?

I don't really care as long as the lyrics are sung by a good vocalist and the music behind it is good. Then I'm satisfied. And of course it's has to be metal.

10)What can we expect from your band in the future?

First of all you can expect our debut album "Fragments of a Withered Dream" out in August/September 2002 and until then you can check out two of the songs on www.composmentis.dk where you'll also find three of the songs from our demo "Quadrology of Sorrow". When our album is released, we will be touring as much as possible and hopefully in the late 2003 we'll start recording our next album. But that's another story...
